Chicago-area-based Red Seal Development is planning a new 29-unit townhouse development for a location in McKissack Park, according to a report out from the Nashville Post. If approved, the project will be the developer’s fourth project in the Nashville area.

For now, townhomes at the proposed development, which is being called 27th Avenue Townhomes, will feature three levels and range in size from roughly 1,700 to 2,100 square feet.

As noted by the Nashville Post, 23 of the units will be priced at market rate, while the remaining 6 units will be marketed and sold as “workforce housing” units without government incentives.

Much like the city of Nashville, a number of suburban communities throughout Middle Tennessee are also rapidly growing and expanding, and the region’s strong job and population growth should allow this trend to continue well into next year and beyond.

Earlier this summer, construction officially started for a new subdivision dubbed Waltons Grove, which will eventually bring 400 more single-family residences to the highly desirable suburb of Mt. Juliet.

Encompassing approximately 163 acres, the first three phases of Waltons Grove have already been approved by Mt. Juliet’s planning commission and the first set of homes are scheduled to be delivered as early as this November.
