New Townhouse Project West End NashvilleA new townhouse project is now being planned for a West End site that was originally slated for condos. According to the Nashville Post, Nashville-based Regent Homes is looking to break ground on a 13-unit townhouse development located at the T-intersection of Long Boulevard and Burns Avenue.

Construction for the project is expected to take just 9 months, and the total project cost is estimated to be around $5.8 million.

Being called The Long and Burns Row Houses, the average price for a unit within the development is close to $450,000, which actually has quite of bit of value for the West End neighborhood. Townhomes for sale at The Long and Burns Row Houses will offer between 1,250 and 1,450 square feet of total living space, and also feature a  private,

SoBro NeighborhoodA gleaming new residential tower is being planned for a surface parking lot that sits just off Lea Avenue and Palmer Place near the Korean Veterans Boulevard Roundabout.

As first reported by The Tennessean, plans for the the new 35-story tower, which was designed by Hastings Architecture Associates, were presented to the Metro Development and Housing Agency’s design review committee early last month, but issues with step-back requirements could potentially put the project in jeopardy.

As it stands, the beautiful L-shaped tower would actually have a relatively small footprint, but standards require a 15-foot step-back along the street frontage to be somewhere between the fourth and eighth stories on all buildings seven stories or taller.
