Nashville Real Estate Update - 3Q 2017More good news to report when it comes to Nashville area home sales, as sales finished the month of September up about two-percent, when compared to a year ago. According to data obtained from Greater Nashville Realtors, home sales finished at 3,544 closings.

That translates to homes sales up about 3.5-percent for the third quarter, also compared to a year ago. In total, there were more than 11,000 reported closings.

When looking again at just September, the median sale price of a home sold during the month was $280,000. That’s up more than $23,000 from a year ago. When it comes to the median price of a condo sold during the month, that number was more than $223,000, also up considerably from the previous year.
