The Nashville real estate market is off to a strong start in 2017 and is showing no signs of slowing down heading into what’s usually one of the busiest times of the year for the housing industry.
According to new numbers from the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS® (GNAR), the Nashville area recorded 2,507 closings in February, which represents an impressive 9.3% jump compared to February of 2015.
Given February was a surprisingly mild month from a weather standpoint, a bump in sales isn’t terribly surprising. But when you also factor in January saw an 11.2% increase in home sales, the strong upward trend suggests we’re off to another very busy year for the Nashville real estate market overall.
