Nashville has several hot neighborhoods which have cycled through their time in the spotlight: the Gulch, East Nashville, Sylvan Park, and 12 South are all recent examples. But new data shows that the Charlotte Pike are might be the next big hit. In particular, the area along Interstate 4 and Charlotte Pike often simply called 'Charlotte Park'. 

A new development is seeking to bring over 100 new condos to the area, and currently homes in this location are selling for approximately $100,000 less than comparable homes in the Nations, just a short drive away. Some home buyers interviewed by the Tennesseean cited that it's one of the last neighborhoods located close in proximity to downtown with lower prices. For nearly four consecutive years, Nashville's downtown rentals have been nearly 100% occupied, and recently home for sale inventory in the area decreased to a supply to last just over 1 months... where 6 months is considered ideal to avoid a seller's market. This all from a report that the Nashville Downtown Partnership released just on monday.

In the same week, still more companies released information that they planned to move to Nashville, bringing more workers. UBS, HCA, and Bridgestone were all among them. This unprecedented demand will certainly lead to higher rent rates and home prices, and despite admirable efforts on the city's part to create more affordable living spaces, in the private sector, demand keeps driving prices.

The Adventure Science Center is an independent, non-profit educational museum and planetarium that is designed to inspire and encourage curiosity, learning, and lifelong discovery.

East Nashville is home to The annual Tomato Art Festival Second Line Parade and Festival. The event is just as it sounds, a festival celebrating the tomato: “a uniter, not a divider- bringing together fruits and vegetables.”

Originally founded in 2004 as a way to promote a tomato-based art show, the wildly popular event is coming back in 2015. The parade begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday August 8. A free, costume- encouraged event, the annual Tomato Art Festival and parade provides hours of entertainment and fun for the whole family.

Nashville’s Ink-N-Iron Fest is a four-day event with over 200 tattoo artists from around the world, amazing musical performances, and hot rods. The event combines live music, fine custom cars, burlesque, art, and 20’s-50’s fashion. Attendees can purchase tickets several different ways: tattoo convention only tickets, individual tickets to the concerts, 4-day general admission, 4-day VIP, or 3-day VIP.

The event features a vintage fashion bazaar, motorama, gathering of tattoo masters, as well as art shows and live music in the big top tent.

Belcourt Theatre is a restored cinema known for showing a wide variety of mainstream and avant-garde films. This beloved two-screen theatre is known for being the perfect old, historic theatre and as a Nashville Favorite. The Second Saturday Outdoor Cinema at the Belcourt Theatre is a popular summer tradition in Nashville.

On the second Saturday of each month, the Belcourt Theatre has a tradition of providing a free outdoor showing of classic films.
